The Wrightstown Area Baseball Association is asking for everyone to keep a 2nd grader in their thoughts and prayers as he fights for his life at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Brayden Auten began experiencing liver failure on April 26th and has been on the liver transplant list ever since. Auten had been an avid wrestler and had just begun his first year of baseball when he became ill. The WABA will be attempting to raise money to help Brayden and his family this Saturday, which is also the opening day for youth baseball this season. WABA President Matt Buenning said that there will be a collection box at the Corner Diamond for those who have the means to help the Auten family. A GoFundMe page has also been set up in Brayden’s name. The Wrightstown wrestling club is also buying gas cards for the family, and wrestlers are volunteering to do chores around their house as well.
