When Superintendent Jennifer Cheatham leaves her position with the Madison Metropolitan School District at the end of the summer, she will join the faculty at Harvard. Cheatham says she will give up the Madison position in August. Board President Mary Burke called Cheatham “an incredible leader.” The school board will appoint an interim superintendent as a national search is conducted. Cheatham will join the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
