The Oshkosh School District has shut off all drinking fountains at the Oakwood Elementary School in the Town of Algoma. Elevated levels of arsenic were discovered in the tap water this year. The school received a tier one notification when arsenic levels were measured at 14 times the legal limit. That basically means the water isn’t safe to drink. Oakwood is one of the last two schools in the Oshkosh district still getting its water from a well.
