The 17-year-old was sentenced on Monday for his involvement in hiding the corpse of a man that had died of an overdose. Romeo Alexis Torres was charged after it was discovered that he had aided Andrea Mullens in hiding the body of 30-year-old Matthew Mercure in the crawl space of Mullens’ home. Torres ended up pleading no contest to his felony charge of being a party to hiding a corpse. He will be spending 1 and a half years in jail and will be on five years of extended supervision. Mullens was sentenced last month to six years and six months behind bars.
