Public Input Sought on Half A Percent Sales Tax Issue

Manitowoc County Board Supervisor, Kevin Behnke, says he will be hosting a public input session next week to discuss a proposal to create a half a percent sales tax in the county.  According to a news release from Behnke, the session is scheduled for Monday night, May 13th starting at 6:30 in the Lake Michigan Room at Lakeshore Technical College in Cleveland.  Town Boards from Newton, Centerville & Meeme along with the Cleveland Village Board may attend to gather information & participate in the discussion. Supervisor Behnke says the public is welcome to attend Monday night’s input session at L-T-C and comment on the proposal.
