Wisconsin Man Among Those Killed In Waukegan Explosion

A 29-year-old Kenosha County man is among those killed in a Friday night explosion at a plant in Waukegan, Illinois.  Allen Stevens of Salem died in a hospital burn unit.  The blast at A-B Specialty Silicones was so powerful it was felt miles away in southeastern Wisconsin.  More than 100 emergency responders were summoned from dozens of departments.  The Illinois State Fire Marshal is investigating to determine what caused the catastrophic event.  Damages are estimated at more than one million dollars.
