Speaker Vos: Hopes To Reach A Deal With Governor On Medical Marijuana

The Republican Assembly Speaker says he won’t go along with the governor’s proposal for legalizing marijuana, but he hopes to find common ground on limited legalization for medical purposes.  Robin Vos says Republicans plan to kill a proposal which includes legalizing small amounts of marijuana for recreational use.  Vos says he hopes talks with Governor Evers will produce something both sides can support.  He has supported limited legalization for chronic medical conditions for some time.
