The Brown County Sheriff’s Department is investigating several thefts from locked trailers. According to Captain Jody Lemmens, the thefts all occurred in the month of April in the Village of Bellevue and Town of Ledgeview. Thousands of dollars’ worth of tools were taken from the construction trailers, including sawzalls, nail guns, drills, chop saws and multiple miscellaneous tools. In all cases, forced entry was made to the trailers.
