With this being early May, the summer tourism season in the lakeshore area is about to get into high gear. Jason Ring, of the Manitowoc Area Visitor and Convention Bureau, tells SeehaferNews.com about some economic numbers. “Manitowoc is right around that $110 to $115 million a year, brought into our community by visitors,” Ring explained. “Those dollars trickle into our local businesses like restaurants, and hotels and our attractions and our museums and recreational activities.”
Information about our community for both locals and tourists is available at the Manitowoc Area-Visitor and Convention Bureau Office, at 4221 Calumet Avenue.
