The Dallas Mavericks need better shooters as they try to return to contention in the N-B-A. A report in the New York Times suggests the Mavs will target Milwaukee forward Khris Middleton, among others. Middleton is called a player who can space the floor, defend and fit in with coach Rick Carlisle’s offensive design. During the regular season, the 27-year-old Middleton averaged a little over 18 points-a-game. He connected on 38 percent of his three-point shots and is critical to the Bucks effort as they try to get past Boston in the second round of the playoffs.
