Six Brewers pitchers gave up 10 hits and seven walks in Wednesday’s 11-4 loss to Colorado. Jacob Barnes served as an emergency starter after Chase Anderson developed a cut finger on his pitching hand before the game. Barnes gave up a three-run homer to Nolan Arenado in the first inning. Mike Moustakas had a two-run homer and Ben Gamel drove in the other two runs with a pair of hits. Barnes took the loss. Freddy Peralta starts this afternoon’s (Thursday’s) game at Miller Park as the Brewers try to take three-out-of-four.
