Badgers Tennis Goes From Woeful To NCAA Tournament In 2 Years

Just two years ago the Wisconsin tennis team was winless in the Big Ten and struggled to a 4-16 record overall.  This spring they are ranked 35th in the nation and are making their first N-C-A-A tournament appearance in 14 years this weekend.  The Badgers will play Syracuse in the opening round in Palo Alto, California, Saturday.  Coach Kelcy McKenna came to Madison just before that dreadful 2017 season from New Mexico.  She recruited the players who performed so well Wisconsin was 18-5, winning nine-of-11 conference dual matches.
