Sheboygan based Acuity Insurance has been named to Forbes America’s Best Mid-Size Employers list. In developing its list, Forbes asked more than 50,000 people working for U.S. companies employing at least 1,000 people to rate their willingness to recommend those companies. Employees who took part in the survey were not contacted through their employers but, rather, did so through online panels that provided a representative sample of the U.S. workforce. Ben Salzmann, Acuity President, and CEO responded to the news by saying, “We are honored to be recognized among Forbes America’s Best Mid-Sized Employers and take pride in the great workplace we have built together.” This is the second year in a row Acuity made the list, and last year had also made Forbes’ Best Employers for Women and Best Employers for Diversity lists.
