Victims Organization: 1-In-5 Teens Experience Violence In Romantic Relationship

The statewide victim’s organization End Domestic Abuse Wisconsin says 30 teenagers have been the victim of intimate partner homicide since the year 2000. An estimated 20 percent of Wisconsin teens have experienced some type of violence in their romantic relationships. The majority never tell an adult when it happens. Young people are being encouraged to recognize dating violence among their friends and respond.
