Man Hospitalized After Crashing ATV

An Outagamie County man is recovering in the hospital after crashing his ATV. The accident occurred at around 7:00 last night in the town of Freedom. The 53-year-old male driver received lifesaving treatment at the scene by first responders, before being transported to a local hospital via Gold Cross Ambulance. A Theda Star helicopter was requested but was canceled before it landed. Alcohol appears to be a factor in the incident, as the man is recovering from serious injuries.
