Milwaukee Tourism Leaders Hope DNC-Charlotte Numbers Are Reflected Here

The Democratic National Convention brought in 163-million dollars in Charlotte in 2012 and Milwaukee tourism officials are hoping to match that performance next year.  Hotel and convention officials talked about the potential big payday at a Wednesday news conference.  Milwaukee is hoping to at least match Charlotte’s results when 50-thousand people descend on the city next summer.  Beer City beat out Miami and Houston for the giant event.
