Prosecutors said Jonathan Thompson was in charge of a group of bank robbers who hit nine locations in the Madison area last year. A federal judge sentenced Thompson to 22 years Wednesday. Investigators say Thompson would choose the bank he wanted to rob, then drop off his nephew Kiefah Marba and Robert Minette. They would walk into the bank, show a gun and demand money — then all three would return to Thompson’s apartment and split the take. Marba and Minette pleaded guilty previously.
