The Sheboygan woman who hid a corpse in a crawl space in her basement was sentenced to six years and six months in prison yesterday. Andrea Mullens plead no contest to the charges of maintaining a drug trafficking place, hiding a corpse and intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a child. This incident occurred back in November when officers were tipped off about a potential overdose death in Mullen’s home. An initial search of the home came up with nothing, but another tip came in a couple of days later indicating that the body was hidden. A more detailed search uncovered the body of 30-year-old Matthew Mercure wrapped in fabric, stashed in a crawl space. Several witnesses testified that Mullens would sell heroin, meth, and Xanax out of her home.
