The Farm Wisconsin Discovery Center has announced that their next Breakfast at the Barn will be held on May 29th. The special guest for the event will be this year’s Alice in Dairyland winner, Kaitlyn Riley. The Gays Mills resident learned first-hand the passion and work ethic of Wisconsin farmers growing up on her family’s registered Jersey dairy farm. Wanting to share agriculture’s story, she studied strategic communications and broadcast journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In college, she held officer positions with the Association of Women in Agriculture and Badger Dairy Club. The breakfast buffet will begin at 7:30 am, and Riley will take the stage at 8:00. Farm Wisconsin is requesting that those wishing to attend purchase their tickets in advance either online, or by calling the front desk. Tickets are $10 for Farm Wisconsin Members and $15 for non-members.
