No clear winner has emerged at quarterback as the Wisconsin Badgers hold their final two spring practices today (Thursday) and Friday. Coach Paul Chryst had said he wouldn’t name an official starter. The four-man race includes part-time starter and junior Jack Coan, junior Danny Vanden Boom, freshman Chase Wolf and freshman Graham Mertz. Wolf is called the most dynamic candidate for the job with his mobility and arm strength. Mertz was one of the most-heavily recruited high school quarterbacks in the nation.
