Broadwind Receives Huge Wind Generator Tower Order

A Manitowoc company has announced a large order for wind generator towers to be built locally. Broadwind Energy says they have received an order for $19.5 million worth of the towers to be manufactured at their riverfront property this year. Broadwind President and CEO Stephanie Kushner said the company is pleased to receive the order and continues in active discussions with multiple customers for production this year and next. Along with the wind towers, she said the company is focusing on expanding their product offerings.
