Suspect From Romania To Be Sentenced For Credit Card Skimming

When he is sentenced, a man from Romania could get up to 21 years in prison for his role in a credit card skimming scam. Catalin A. Capanu entered a guilty plea to six felony charges of wire fraud and theft from a financial institution in Fond du Lac County Circuit Court. Capanu also faces possible charges in Brown and Dane counties. He and a co-defendant are accused of forging and cloning 137 credit cards last June.
