
The St. Louis Cardinals scored seven runs in the seventh inning, blowing open a close game and beating Milwaukee Monday night 13-5. Dexter Fowler, who hit .180 last season, went four-for-five with four runs batted in. The Brewers never led, but they were only down by 5-4 when the Cardinal bats exploded. Adrian Houser lost his first major league start for Milwaukee, giving up nine hits and five runs in four-plus innings. The Brewers got home runs from Yasmani Grandal, Travis Shaw, Ryan Braun and Hernan Perez. Zach Davies starts for Milwaukee tonight (Tuesday) in St. Louis.
