Manitowoc Lincoln Track & Field teams competed yesterday in the West Bend Invite. The Ships wind up 5th in the Girls division with 89.5 points West Bend West was team champion scoring 108.5 points. Individually, Lincoln’s Emily Dawidowich continues her excellent season winning both the 100 and 200 meter dash, and teaming up with Jenna Miller, Mia Khalil and Brooke Parrish to capture the 4×100 relay. The relay set a new meet record in 52.01, while Dawidowich established new meet & school records in the 100 at 12.3 seconds, and a new meet standard at 25.64 in the 200 meters. The Ships Allyson Verbauwhede also finished 1st in the 2 mile run at 12:23.91.
In the Boys division at West Bend Lincoln was 8th in the 10 school field with 39.5 points. Menomonee Falls wins the team title with 132.5. Individually, the Ships had a pair of 2nd place finishes: Gavin Stradal in the 100 and the 4×100 relay consisting of Stradal, Marcus Miglieri, Malcome Young and Jett Hecker.
