The way the 2019 N-F-L schedule is set up, the Packers and their rookie head coach have a chance to get off to a good start. Five of Green Bay’s first seven games are at home. That doesn’t mean coach Matt LaFleur escapes the pressure of his first team leadership position. The schedule gets brutal in weeks eight-through-10 and the Packers won’t have much of a chance to make up ground in the standings when they’re playing on the road for most of the second half of the season. After opening the 2019 campaign at Chicago, it would be a good thing for Green Bay to win the next three at home. The pressure would still be on the rookie coach, but not nearly as bad.
