Brookfield Pond Drained As Investigators Look For Murder Evidence

A Brookfield pond has been drained as authorities look for evidence in the murder case against a 29-year-old Franklin man.  Sunkeun Kim is charged with first-degree intentional homicide.  Investigators think he strangled his wife to death last November.  Madeline Kim filed for divorce last year and her dead body was found in her apartment three weeks later.  Her husband’s history of abusive behavior included punching, strangling and kicking his wife for three-and-a-half hours last September.  Investigators thought there might be some evidence in that pond.
