The Americans were booed as they accepted their gold medals for winnings the Women’s World Hockey Championship in Finland Sunday night. Former Wisconsin Badger goaltender Alex Rigsby stopped four-of-five shots in a shootout as the U-S prevailed. Finland appeared to win the game in overtime, but the goal was disallowed. Finland had upset perennial power Canada in the semifinals. Another former Badger, Annie Pankowski scored one of the two U-S goals in the shootout.
