Sheboygan Fire Department Welcomes New Chief

The Sheboygan Fire Department has a new man leading the way. It was announced on Friday by City officials that Eric Montellano will be taking over as the Chief of the Fire Department. Montellano is currently serving as the Deputy Chief of the Zion Fire and Rescue Department in Zion Illinois, and has over 25 years in the fire sector. Montellano has held positions such as firefighter/Paramedic, Lieutenant and Battalion Chief as well. The former Chief, Michael Romas retired last month after performing admirably for five years in the role.
