Lincoln Hosts Tennis Tournament

Manitowoc Lincoln hosted a boys tennis tournament at Lincoln Park Saturday.  The Ships of Coach Bob Feller went 0-and-2 on the day but were competitive in their matches.  Lincoln was defeated by West Bend East 5-2, with Ships victories coming in doubles’ from #1 flight Aidan Newberg & Jack Rotter 6-1, 6-1 and from the 3^rd flight of Sam Meyer and Rudy Hartlaub 6-4, 6-2.  Feller changed-up his rotation a bit for round 2 during a 4-3 loss to Slinger, Rotter won his 2 singles match, 7-6, 6-0, while the Meyer/Hartlaub combination won their 2^nd match at ‘3 doubles, 6-2, 6-3. The Prairie School of Wind Point, Wisconsin won the team title, Sheboygan North was 2^nd, West Bend East 3^rd followed by Kenosha Tremper.
