A 68-year-old Stevens Point man will spend six months in county jail, but won’t have to go to prison for trying to have sex with a 15-year-old girl. Leo Pelot was caught in a sex sting last year in Merrill. He thought he was talking to the teenager’s aunt when he agreed to pay 100 dollars for sex. When he showed up, the aunt and the girl he had been talking to online turned out to both be undercover officers. Pelot will be on probation for 10 years.
