Suspect Arrested in Armed Robbery of Portage County Pizza Ranch

A suspect is jailed in Portage County in connection with the armed robbery of a restaurant. Twenty-one-year-old Semaj Gwyn is accused of robbing the Pizza Ranch last night in Plover. Witnesses told police a masked man demanded money and verbally threatened an employee with a gun before leaving with an unknown amount of cash. Officers and a Stevens Point police dog tracked down Gwyn and arrested him about an hour-and-a-half later. The incident is still under investigation and Plover police are asking for more information about the crime.
