Marquette University has introduced Megan Duffy as its next women’s basketball coach less than a week after Carolyn Kieger stepped aside. Duffy comes to the Golden Eagles from Miami of Ohio where the Red Hawks compiled a 23-9 record this past season. Marquette athletic director Bill Scholl was a Notre Dame administrator when Duffy was playing for the Irish. University officials conducted several interviews during the women’s Final Four. They say Duffy stood out.
