Wisconsin-based SHINE starts construction on a new, main production facility in Janesville next month. A 91-acre acre section of land on the city’s south side has been transferred to the medical company. SHINE says it creates safe, affordable and clean medical isotopes which are used to diagnose and treat disease. The move was made possible by a tax increment financing deal between the company and the city of Janesville.
