There are a couple of high profile court cases scheduled for today in the Manitowoc County Courthouse. Felicia Kuehnl, who is facing charges after she allegedly killed her stepfather Randy Loze last April, will be having a settlement conference with the District Attorney at 3:00 this afternoon. Meanwhile, the man charged in the double homicide of Richard and Jocelyn Miller in September of last year, 35-year-old Karl Hess was scheduled to have a preliminary hearing today, but he has requested a substitution. This means he is asking for a different Judge. Victor Cota, the man facing charges after explosives were found in his mother’s basement, will have his settlement conference with the District Attorney on May 3rd.
