Green Bay Preble’s Max Wagner homered and got the final 3 outs in the 7th inning to preserve the Hornets 4-1 victory over Manitowoc Lincoln last night. Three Preble pitchers limited the host Ships to 4 hits, including a run scoring single by Gavin Stradal . Lincoln starter Aiden Buck took the loss. The Ships drop to 4–2 overall, 1-1 in the FRCC, while the Hornets improve to 3-0, 2-0 in league.
In the E-W-C Valders was a 5-2 winner over Sheboygan Falls. Deisel Hammel was the winning pitcher after going 6 1/3 innings. Riley Hammel earned the save. Top hitters for the Vikings were Trevor Leist 1-2 with 2 runs scored & Mason Meyers who had an RBI single and a walk.
