Manitowoc Lincoln boys and girls track & field teams competed in a triangular meet yesterday against Sheboygan North & South. The Ships captured first in the Girls division with 71 points, followed by the Redwings with 52, and the Golden Raiders totaled 46-points. Lincoln had two, double winners: Emily Dawidowich in the 100 meter and 200 meters and Breanna Reinhart in the 800 & mile run. Individual winners for Coach Jacque Bartow’s squad included: Lauren Borchardt 100 hurdles, Morgan Bartow triple jump, Cayla Gunderson In the shot put and Maddie Buchner won the high jump.
On the Boys side: Tanner Wigand earned the Ships lone first place finish in the discus. Runner-up finishes came from Gavin Stradal, Jett Hecker, Max Bailey, Tyson Rupp & Walker Bergene. Sheboygan South wins the team title with 74 points, while Lincoln and North each scored 41. The meet was canceled during the boys 200 meters, so they weren’t able to finish all the events.
