Cephus Not Just Off The Team, He Was Expelled From UW

A spokesperson for the University of Wisconsin-Madison says former Badger football player Quintez Cephus was expelled after the fall semester.  Cephus is scheduled to go on trial in July to face sexual assault charges.  He was suspended from the team last fall under the school’s Student-Athlete Discipline Policy, but he attended classes during the first semester.  He also worked out on his own at the McClain Center.  The school says he was expelled for violating its non-academic misconduct code.
