Two Male individuals taken into custody early Thursday morning for firing gunshots in a Two Rivers residence appeared for bail hearings this afternoon. 17-year-old Isiah A. Williams of Manitowoc is charged with felony bail jumping-felon in possession of a firearm and party to the crime-endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon-and 18- year-old J.J. Johnson the fourth of Ohio is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and endangering safety by use of a dangerous weapon.
Police responded to multiple reports of gunshots in the area of Madison and 19th Streets. Numerous witnesses said they saw Williams waiving a gun-which he claimed was given to him- inside the house. Williams told authorities he handed the weapon to Johnson who admitted to firing the weapon claiming he was bored. No one was targeted or injured. Bail for Johnson was set at $10 thousand cash as the court saw him as a potential “flight risk.” Conditions of bail are that he have no contact with Williams-possess no firearms report to Two Rivers Police for photos and prints and provide an address to the court within 24 hours of release. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for April 15th at 1:30. Bail for Williams was set at $1000 cash plus he was picked up on two separate warrants with $500 cash bail each. Conditions of bail are that he is to have no contact with Johnson and report to the Two Rivers Police Department for photos and prints upon release. He remains in the County Jail with an initial appearance scheduled for April 22nd at 1:30.
