Roncalli High School has announced that Fran Peter-currently the Associate Principal at Xavier High School in Appleton-will succeed Timothy Olson as the institution’s next principal. President John Stelzer says that Mr. Olson has announced his retirement effective the end of the school year after 21 years of service.
Fran Peter and her family reside in the Sheboygan County Town of Cascade.
She has previous experience in the Brown Deer School District as a substitute building principal, Special educator and Spanish instructor.
Peter received her Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from National Louis University in Chicago. She also has a bachelor’s degree in
Education-Emotional Disabilities and has also earned post baccalaureate certification in Spanish, cognitive disabilities and Learning disabilities.
President John Stelzer says of Fran Peter’s hiring “We are pleased to welcome Fran into our Community. She exhibits a great passion as an educator and a compassion for young people that we value at our school.” Fran Peter said; “As I feel I was called to be a teacher I was called to be a leader. I am an advocate for students by teaching them to be advocates for themselves and for those who do not have a voice. I look forward to being part of this exceptional family of students, parents and educators.”
Peter will begin her administrative duties at Roncalli High School July 1st.
