Packers Start Spring Workouts Next Week

Green Bay Packer players report for spring workouts next Monday.  Because Matt LaFleur is a new head coach, the Packers could have kicked it off yesterday, but they would have had to take a week off later.  There are eight new head coaches in the N-F-L.  Denver, Tampa Bay, Miami and Cleveland decided to start their workouts this week, while the Packers, Cincinnati, Arizona and the New York Jets start April 8th.  Green Bay also gets to hold an extra, voluntary minicamp April 23rd through the 25th for veterans and returning players. The mandatory minicamp will be held in June.
