Madison police say family members saw an intruder on a home security camera early Sunday morning, so they hid and called 9-1-1. Loud noises were heard at about 12:30 A-M and they were able to see a bearded man entering their home on the security video. The adults hid in an upstairs bedroom with their two children and visiting grandparents while they waited for police to arrive. Forty-four-year-old Dean R. Schuetze of Milwaukee was taken into custody after a brief struggle. A police dog bit Schuetze’s leg and three officers suffered minor injuries while bringing him under control.
