Over the weekend, Coaches Paulette Simonar and Tammy O’Conner took 15 athletes to the Special Olympics State Basketball Skills Tournament at Neenah High School. Jordyn Culberston and Courtney Holt each were able to snag a gold medal, while Paula Koish and Brandon Lesperance walked away with some silver around their neck. The following athletes all picked up finished between 4th and 8th place; Sue Bare, Wayne Bonfigt, Ken Barnes, Nathan Dufano, Kadin Kanzelberger, Kevin Kellar, Kyle Kraus, Tom Schumker, Nathin Spurlin, Patrick Steffen and Wendy Wachal. Congratulations are in order for these four athletes, and the many others that competed in the competition.
