No word yet on who won the 768-million-dollar Powerball jackpot last night (Wednesday) in Wisconsin. The winning ticket was sold in New Berlin. The Wisconsin State Lottery’s Cindy Polzin says the winner has until September 24th to begin the process of claiming the biggest prize the state has ever seen. She says that gives them six months to talk with family, friends, a financial advisor or to maybe seek legal assistance. She says it’s important to sign the ticket right away to make sure they are the owner. Polzin joked that the jackpot would buy 305 brats for each fan at Miller Park today (Thursday) on Opening Day.
