Wisconsin’s governor is telling the state’s conservationists their issues have to be addressed. Evers has declared 2019 the Year of Clean Drinking Water in Wisconsin. The Democrat wants to borrow almost 70-million dollars to combat water pollution and replace lead pipes. Evers spoke to the Wisconsin Conservation Voters Lobby Day at the Capitol Wednesday. He wants all electricity produced in the state to be carbon-free by the year 2050.
