Construction On New Chippewa Falls Elementary School Can Start

The best bid has been chosen and construction work on a new elementary school in Chippewa Falls can get underway.  The winning bid for the new Stillson Elementary School was just over 50-million dollars.  Voters approved the money for the school in a referendum which passed in April 2017.  The new building will go up a mile from the current Stillson school building.  It might be affected by the weather, but the district hopes the project can be completed by next year.
