A 20-year-old Manitowoc man was arrested last night after he was found to be in possession of Marijuana. A patrolling officer watched a vehicle stop in the roadway in the 4300 block of Fleetwood Drive at around 8:30 PM, and let a passenger out. The vehicle proceeded to stay parked there for about 2 minutes, before leaving. The officer followed the vehicle to the Lakeland Manor trailer court, where he then approached the vehicle to see if the driver was wearing his seatbelt. When he looked through the window, the officer saw a baggie containing marijuana on the driver’s thigh. The officer then asked the driver to exit the vehicle, which he did, while grabbing the baggie. When the officer went to place the man in handcuffs, he shoved the bag into his mouth. The officer was able to handcuff the man and retrieve the bag. The man is being charged with his second possession of THC charge, possession of drug paraphernalia, and being a drug repeater.
