Details have been released regarding the motorcycle accident that took the life of a 20-year-old Manitowoc resident. Officers were dispatched to East Shore Drive at around 3:15 pm Saturday afternoon, right in front of the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary on a report of a motorcycle vs car accident. The motorcycle, operated by 20-year-old Trevor Goulder, was determined to be traveling east when it collided with a car, which was being driven by an unnamed 19-year-old male, who was attempting to exit the Wildlife Sanctuary. The car was struck with such force, that the vehicle spun around, finally coming to rest 30 yards off the roadway. While Goulder was wearing a helmet, the accident caused massive internal injuries, and he passed away at a local hospital at around 7:00 PM. The driver was the only occupant of the car, and he was treated and released from a local hospital with minimal injuries. The crash is still under investigation. A GoFundMe has been set up to help support Trevor’s family, which you can click here to access.
