With a strike of a shovel and a cheer from the crowd, Redline Plastics is now moving toward an additional manufacturing facility. The new building will double production space by adding over 100-thousand square feet. Nick Murray, the Vice President of Operations says “There has been a lot of growth on the plastic’s side of the division”
The new plant is on an 11-acre site in the Manitowoc I-43 Technology & Enterprise Campus. Red Line Plastics is a maker of rotational molded, vacuum formed and line bent plastics products for a variety of industries as well as leather and textile products for the powersports industry.
Murray added, “Redline Plastics is hiring and expecting to hire an additional 40 employees for the new facility”. The Redline Plastics project represents an estimated $12.5 million investment and is scheduled to be completed by November 2019.
