We have received some positive news regarding the Green Alert that was issued yesterday for a Green Bay veteran. Officials are reporting the Yuri Burrows has been found safe. Burrows had been last seen on Monday, before the Green Alert was issued. The Green Alert program is a relatively new idea, which works in a similar fashion to the Silver and Amber Alerts. Last year a veteran had gone missing, and was found dead in the woods, prompting a call for a better system to alert the public of missing veterans. While details of the case involving Burrows have not been released, it would appear that the new system is working.
