Milwaukee exploded for five runs in the eighth inning to blow a 5-4 Cactus League game against the Padres wide open Wednesday. The Brewers ended with a 10-7 victory. Centerfielder Ben Gamel went three-for-five with a homer and four runs batted in and pinch-hitter Tyler Saladino had a bases-clearing pinch-hit double for the Brewers. Brandon Woodruff started and pitched into the sixth inning before he was knocked out. Milwaukee hosts the Dodgers this afternoon.
